Council 'safety' plans being shrouded in secrecy is nothing new and continues to be really quite disturbing. Especially when serious decisions that can have a terrible impact on peoples' lives are being made on behalf of certain people in the community concocting stories of 'dangerous individual/s'. Just think of the caravan terrorist scenario in NSW that eventually was discovered to be criminal and not at all terrorist in nature. But not before.... Hot topic indeed....I've had an ongoing issue with a neighbour and her 'fairy garden' on Council Land. There is an associated 'community' group attached who made a point of marching around the flats here in Port Melbourne (2019) in defence of this extremely problematic 'fairy garden' chanting, "And we vote Liberal". There is quite a story about this very sordid saga, the Police and the Magistrates' Court. There is also a lot of criminality involved, none of which I have anything to do with. So don't be at all surprised if no one ever gets to the bottom of what goes on at Port Phillip Council.
